GREATER WACO YOUTH LAW
Our mission is to promote and protect the legal rights and interests of indigent children who are dependent upon the judicial, child welfare, health and mental health, education, and juvenile justice systems for their care and development.
The Youth Law Project offers:
abuse and neglect and domestic violence
access to health and mental health care
school disciplinary hearings
special education
legal rights of teen parents
emancipation
immigration status, filing SIJS and U, VAWA and T visas for minor victims of crime, domestic violence, abuse and neglect and human trafficking
housing
improper denials of state or federal benefits, including children's SSI, medicaid and SCHIP eligibility
